Mooy scores screamer in Huddersfield win

Socceroos star Aaron Mooy has scored his maiden English Premier League goal to give Huddersfield Town a 1-0 win over Newcastle.
Mooy's stunning strike came in the 50th minute when he played a neat one-two at the top of the box with striker Elias Kachunga, before the Australian curled his effort past Newcastle keeper Rob Elliot into the top right corner.
The lead up to the goal featured 26 straight passes from Huddersfield, the most from any EPL team in a goalscoring sequence this season.
The goal also earned Mooy a slice of history as it is the first Premier League goal to be scored by the Terriers at The John Smith's Stadium.
Mooy though refused to get carried away post-match as home fans chanted "We are Premier League".
"The boss has a saying to have no limits and we all stand behind that," Mooy told Sky Sports.
"It has been a great start so far, but we can't get carried away, it's early in the season. We just have to keep working hard and keep trying to improve."
It was a complete performance from Huddersfield and Mooy, who was easily the most influential player on the pitch throughout the match.
And while Huddersfield continued to look at ease in the top flight fellow promoted side Newcastle appeared to be anything but.
They seemed bereft of ideas in attack and only had a few chances.
Matt Ritchie was thwarted early in the first half by a fine save from Terriers keeper Jonas Lossl and Ayoze Perez blew a chance to equalise in the 68th minute
The win lifts Huddersfield to second on the ladder behind Manchester United.
