Pahang crush Perak with 3-1 win

FORMER champions Pahang cruised to a 3-1 win over Perak, scoring all three goals in the first half, in Saturday's Malaysia Cup quarter-final first leg match at Darulmakmur Stadium in Kuantan.
Wan Zaharulnizam Wan Zakaria put Pahang ahead in the 36th minute, followed by goals through defenders Afif Amiruddin (38th) and Matthew Davies (41st).
Perak reduced the deficit through Brazilian striker Gilmar Filho in the 69th minute.

Perak will host the return leg in Ipoh on Sept 23.
